Dr. Roy C. Hammond is skilled in general diagnostic radiology techniques, including interpreting and acquiring medical images. He has special interest in such clinical imaging techniques as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiac imaging, and computed tomography (CT). Dr. Hammond is fellowship trained and board certified in diagnostic radiology.

After graduating from medical school at the University of California in San Francisco, Dr. Hammond completed an internship in transitional medicine at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. This was followed by a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine and a fellowship in body imaging (including body/musculoskeletal MR, CT, and US techniques). His professional associations include the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American Medical Association, Radiological Society of North America, Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Care Program and the Utah Medical Association.
